H Smith & Son was formerly a Greengrocers located in Denton Road, Welling, Kent which was formed and operated by our Grandfather, Harry Smith around 1938. In those days a Greengrocer held a licence to carry goods by way of Horse and Cart to all of the local districts as they also carried Coal which was a necessity.
This side of the business soon became busier than the Greengrocer side of the business. In 1950, our Father Mr Alan Smith transformed the Greengrocer business into a household removal business and H Smith & Son Removals was born.
H Smith & Son Removals became one of the largest independent removal companies within the UK and also concentrated on World Wide removals and shipping.
Established in 1950 we are proud to have served the local community for removals and storage for over 73 years.
H Smith & Son Removals is based in Crockenhill, Kent and is ideally located to undertake removals all over the South East area of the UK.
All of our staff have been with the company for well over 10 years and are all fully experienced in every aspect of the removals industry. All of our staff wear full corporate H Smith & Son Removals uniform at all times.
